Mexborough sits out west on the River Dearne, between Manvers and Denaby, around eight miles from our kitchen on Copley Road. That is beyond the streets we cover for standard delivery, so this page leads with what most Mexborough customers do - drive in for a sit-down, or collect on the way through. The run into Doncaster along the A6023 and the main road takes a little over twenty minutes.
There is a particular reason Mexborough matters to us. Head Chef Rin cooked for years at Thai Garden Cafe in Manvers, just up the road, and knows the Dearne Valley well. The town has a strong identity of its own - the old Montagu Hospital on Adwick Road, the Co-op flour mill by the Don Navigation, the railway heritage of "Mexborough Loco". For an evening out with restaurant-quality Thai, we are a straightforward run away.

Mexborough is beyond our standard delivery area, but if it is quiet we can sometimes help - phone to ask and we will be honest about whether we can reach you that evening.
What's on offer: Full menu - all six curries, Pad Thai, Pad See Eew, Tom Yum and Tom Kha soups, the handmade starters Rin makes in-house, and her signature dark noodle soup. Halal chicken and beef across the mains, a full vegan menu in parallel.

Restaurant-quality Thai cooking
Head Chef Rin has cooked Thai food across South Yorkshire for over a decade, much of it in the Dearne Valley - years at Thai Garden Cafe in Manvers, a stint at Khao Niew in Barnsley, then the kitchen at Happy Cha Bubble Tea before opening Charm Thai Cafe on Copley Road. The curry pastes are imported direct from Thailand, the same Mae Ploy pastes used in Bangkok kitchens, but the sauces, stocks, Pad Thai sauce, satay sauce, the spring rolls and dumplings are all made in our kitchen.
For Mexborough in particular, the BYO with no corkage is worth knowing about. Make the trip in, bring a bottle from home, and we provide the glasses - there is no licensed bar on site, so you bring whatever you fancy. If you want authentic Thai food cooked by someone who learned the trade up your way, the run into Doncaster is a short one.
