Thai Delivery in Cusworth DN5
A village that orders a lot of Thai
Cusworth is one of the patches we deliver to most. Whether the order is coming from the streets around Cusworth Lane, the newer houses up Cusworth Top, or the homes that look out over the Country Park, our delivery box has been there. Three miles or so west of Copley Road, the run takes around ten minutes - fast enough that the food is genuinely hot when it arrives.
The village has its own quiet rhythm. Cusworth Hall, the Grade I listed Georgian house that now holds the Museum of South Yorkshire Life, sits in landscaped parkland with the lake and the woodland walks. The Country Park draws walkers from across the borough at weekends. For locals, it is also one of the easiest stretches of countryside to reach on a weekday evening.

What gets ordered most
Cusworth's steady favourites
After a Country Park walk, after a long day, on a midweek evening when nobody feels like cooking - this is what the orders tend to look like.
The Curries
The steadiest sellers. All six Thai curries are on the menu - green, red, yellow, panang, the slow massaman and the jungle curry without coconut milk. Chicken, prawn, beef, pork, tofu or veg.
Pad Thai & Noodles
Pad Thai with the proper 5mm rice noodles, Pad See Eew with wider 10mm, Pad Kee Mao for those who like it hot, plus the full noodle soup range including Rin's dark noodle soup.
Handmade Starters
Handmade starters from our kitchen. Spring rolls, dumplings, money bags, Thai fish cakes, chicken satay with homemade peanut sauce - all handmade in-house by Rin.

Ten years of Thai cooking, in your dish
Head Chef Rin has been cooking Thai food across South Yorkshire for more than a decade. She trained and cooked at Thai Garden Cafe in Manvers, did a stint at Khao Niew in Barnsley, then ran the kitchen at Happy Cha Bubble Tea before opening Charm Thai Cafe on Copley Road. Full background on the kitchen and the menu sits on our homepage.
The pastes she uses are imported direct from Thailand - the same Mae Ploy curry pastes used in Bangkok kitchens - but the sauces, the prep, the balancing, the tasting and adjusting as the wok runs, all of that happens in our kitchen, every day, by Rin.
Our restaurant sits in the heart of Doncaster, a short walk from East Laith Gate, the Market, and Frenchgate Shopping Centre. Doncaster Station is around ten minutes on foot. For anyone in Cusworth who fancies the drive in, Doncaster Racecourse and Doncaster Rovers Stadium are both nearby landmarks on the way, and Visit Doncaster has more on what's around the town centre. The food that goes out to Cusworth is the food we serve to people sitting at our five tables. Same wok, same pan, same chef.
For those who would rather come in: Cusworth is also within easy reach of Copley Road for dine-in. Five tables, intimate, no rush. Bring your own bottle with no corkage, no service charge added. The evenings get booked up, particularly Fridays and Saturdays - book ahead if a specific evening matters.
