Balby sits a couple of miles south-west of our kitchen on Copley Road, straight out along Balby Road. It is one of the quicker delivery runs we do - terraced streets nearer the town centre giving way to the post-war estates and newer housing toward Woodfield. We deliver across the whole of it, from the Carr Hill end through to the houses spread around Tickhill Road, with no minimum order.
Balby has a long working history - the old Pegler's brass foundry and the Bridon ropery were the names everyone knew, and there is a strong Quaker heritage going back centuries. These days it is residential, busy, and well-served, but a proper Thai delivery from a chef who cooks every dish to order is still a different thing from the usual options. That is what we are here for.

Balby is close enough that both work easily. Plenty of people order delivery on a weeknight; others run the ten minutes into Copley Road to collect or sit down. The kitchen treats every order the same - cooked fresh when you call.

Five tables, no rush. Bring your own bottle with no corkage. A short hop from Balby for a proper sit-down.
Woodfield Plantation and the Tickhill Road side: The newer estates toward Woodfield Plantation and Woodfield Park sit at the southern edge of Balby, off Tickhill Road - the same Tickhill Road that runs past St Catherine's House and its walled garden. We deliver out to the Woodfield estates and the surrounding closes the same as anywhere else in Balby. If you are out that way, the drive from us is closer to twelve minutes, still well within range and still no minimum order.
What's on offer: Full menu - all six curries, Pad Thai, Pad See Eew, Tom Yum and Tom Kha soups, the handmade starters Rin makes in-house, and the signature dark noodle soup. Halal chicken and beef across the mains, a full vegan menu in parallel.

Restaurant-quality Thai cooking
Head Chef Rin has cooked Thai food across South Yorkshire for over a decade - Thai Garden Cafe in Manvers, a stint at Khao Niew in Barnsley, then the kitchen at Happy Cha Bubble Tea before opening Charm Thai Cafe on Copley Road. The curry pastes are imported direct from Thailand, the same Mae Ploy pastes used in Bangkok kitchens, but the sauces, stocks, Pad Thai sauce, satay sauce, the spring rolls and dumplings are all made in our kitchen.
Every dish is cooked to order. Rin tastes and adjusts as she goes, which is why the food travels the short run to Balby and arrives the way it left the wok. If you want authentic Thai food done properly rather than at speed, that is what we do.
