Askern sits about six miles north of our kitchen on Copley Road - a straightforward run up the A19 through Bentley and Toll Bar. The drive from us takes around 15 minutes. Whether the order is coming from the streets around the old spa baths area in the centre of town, the homes near Askern Lake, or the newer residential streets to the south toward Campsall Road, we cover the whole patch.

Askern is a former spa town that grew considerably through the twentieth century, with a population spread across several distinct parts. The streets near the old market area, the houses along Doncaster Road and Manor Road, the estates on the northern edge near Norton - we deliver across all of it. No minimum order, and payment by card over the phone is available if you prefer not to use cash on the door.

Askern is a market town in the north of the Doncaster borough, best known historically as a spa resort before it became a colliery town in the early twentieth century. The spa baths drew visitors from across South Yorkshire in the Victorian era, and the lake at the centre of town is a remnant of that period. Askern Colliery closed in 1991, and the town has changed considerably since.

Today Askern is a sizeable community with its own high street, schools and local amenities. The A19 runs straight through it, connecting it to Doncaster to the south and Selby to the north. For us on Copley Road, the route is direct - up through Bentley, past Toll Bar, and into Askern. It is one of the further reaches of our delivery area but well within our eight-mile range.
